A decision was taken by Governors on 6th February 2018 to dissolve the Discovery Federation by the end of the academic year.  The Local Authority worked with the Governing Body to establish new governance arrangements for each of the schools that formed part of the federation in time for the start of the new school year.  On Friday 6th July, the Discovery Federation of schools came to an end, which means Endeavour is now a stand-alone school with its own Governing Body. The new Governing Body met for the first time on 29th July 2018.

The overall purpose of the Governing Body is:

  • To raise standards of achievement for all children within the Federation.
  • To provide overall strategic direction for the school, working alongside the Leadership Team.
  • To act as a critical friend to the Headteacher and Leadership Team, and to ensure accountability for the performance of the school and stakeholders.

Chair of Governors - Mr Matthew Main.
