Welcome to Ford Class!
The class will be taught by Mrs Williams (Monday -Wednesday) and Mrs Webb (Wednesday - Friday). We are very lucky to have the wonderful Mrs Murphy to support the class.
We have an exciting year planned, jam packed with fabulous learning opportunities for your children.
This year the children will be active learners as they experience unique opportunities which includes Forest School.
Year 3 is the only year group that get to experience Listen2 Me. The children will get the unique opportunity of learning a different musical instrument every term throughout the year with the help of Hampshire Music Service.
Please feel free to write any messages in your child's diary and if you have any concerns you can make an appointment to see us.
We look forward to meeting you and sharing the children's learning with you.
Home Learning Sheets
Please find our Home Learning Sheets on the page dedicated to Home Learning sheets.
During Autumn 1, we will be doing Tag Rugby on a Thursday afternoon. This will be in all weathers so please ensure your child has appropriate clothing! We will also be doing gymnastics as a block every afternoon for a week, beginning the 25th of September.
Children will however need to keep their PE kit in school all week, every week, as we will try to slot in other PE sessions if possible. Please ensure all items are clearly named.
P.E. kit includes:
Endeavour P.E. t-shirt, or plain blue or white t-shirt
Black shorts
Black jogging bottoms or leggings
Plimsolls or trainers
Blue or black sweatshirt or hoodie
Please include a pair of white socks if your daughter wears tights to school.
Ford class will have forest school on the following Monday mornings this half term:
11th September
18th September
2nd October
16th October
Please can the children come dressed appropriately wearing outdoor clothing including layers in the colder months and sun cream with a hat in the warmer months.
At the start of every year, each class in the school selects a class councillor, a Rights Respecting councillor and an Eco councillor. The children give speeches as to why they would be the best candidate and then the class vote.
Here are the representatives for Ford Class this year.
School Councillor- Antonio Ricci
