Year 4 - Anning

Welcome to the Anning Class page

It has been great to see the children coming into school with smiling faces and looking refreshed ready for our final half term together. Keep popping back to our class page to find out what exciting learning we are experiencing.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mrs McDade is the Anning Class teacher this year and the lovely Mrs Arnold is our Teaching Assistant.

We have an exciting year planned which includes lots of active learning so keep popping back to our class page to see photographs of what we have been doing.

If you have any queries or concerns please either drop a line in your son/daughter's diary or pop in and see

Mrs McDade at the end of the school day.

PE

Our PE days are Tuesday and Thursday, although children will need PE kits in school all week in case the weather dictates a change of day or we can slot in an additional PE lesson.

School Council Representative

To represent Anning Class's view at school council meetings Thomas Crisp was voted as the class representative.  This democratic process highlighted the class's focus on British Values and the UN Rights of the Child.

Rights Respecting Representative

To support the work in school on the further development of our rights respecting ethos Charlotte Baker-Wilton was voted to represent Anning Class.

Eco Representative

To develop the science curriculum and the focus on protecting and respecting the environment a new Eco group has been established.  Maria Sharova was selected (through democratic voting) to represent Anning Class.

Well done to the three children who hold these important roles and to all the children who volunteered their support and gave speeches.
