Year 4 - Anning

Welcome to the Anning Class page

This year, Anning Class is being taught by Mr White and the lovely Mrs Arnold is our Teaching Assistant.  We are lucky to also have Miss Forbes working within our class.  We have an exciting year planned which includes lots of active learning. Keep popping back to our class page and have a look at the photographs to see what we have been learning.

If you have any queries or concerns, please feel free to write them in your child's diary or come and talk to us at the end of the day.

School Council Representative

To represent Anning Class's view at school council meetings Esme was voted as the class representative. This democratic process highlighted the class's focus on British Values and the UN Rights of the Child.

Rights Respecting Representative

To support the work in school on the further development of our rights respecting ethos Ava was voted to represent Anning Class.

Eco Representative

To develop the science curriculum and the focus on protecting and respecting the environment a new Eco group has been established. Scarlett was (through democratic voting) elected to represent Anning Class.

Well done to the three children who hold these important roles and to all the children who volunteered their support and gave some excellent speeches.

During Autumn 1, our outside PE day is Tuesday and our week-long gymnastics focus will be week commencing Monday 9th October. Children will however need to keep their PE kit in school all week, every week, as we will try to slot in other PE sessions if possible. Please ensure all items are clearly named.

P.E. kit includes:

Endeavour P.E. t-shirt, or plain blue or white t-shirt

Black shorts

Black jogging bottoms or leggings

Plimsolls or trainers

Blue or black sweatshirt or hoodie

Please include a pair of white socks if your daughter wears tights to school.
