Welcome to MacArthur Class
On this page you will be able to find out key information about our class as well as read about and view some of the fun active learning we are doing in class. So please keep popping back to see what's new.
MacArthur class is taught by Mrs Sullivan with the support of Mrs Allott. If you have any queries or concerns, please feel free to write them in your child's diary or come and talk to us at the end of the day.
This half term MacArthur's outdoor PE day is every Wednesday and indoor PE is every Thursday. Please ensure your child has a full PE kit in school at all times, so that they can take part in all sessions.
School Council & RRS (Rights-Respecting School)
MacArthur class has been very busy learning about democracy and the rights of children, which are listed in the UNCRC (United Nations Conventions of the Rights of the Child). To culminate this, they have demonstrated their democratic rights by electing their own School Councillor and Rights, Respecting Ambassador - who will help to ensure the whole class's voices are heard within the school's community.
Our School Councillor is Harri, our Rights-Respecting Ambassador is Jayden and our Eco Councillor is JJ,
Topic - Ancient Egypt
Next half term our topic with be Ancient Egypt. We are looking forward to learning all about what life was like in Ancient Egypt, Tutankhamen and his tomb and how to write like an Egyptian. We will also be busy creating death mask or collars and designing an Ancient Egyptian necklace.
