Daily

Children are expected to read their book and practise their timestables at least 4 times a week.

Weekly

Children are set maths practise on MyMaths and SPaG practise on Google Classrooms or Purple Mash. The detail of what has been set will always be on the Year Group page on Google Classrooms.

MyMaths Website MyMaths allows children to practise their learning in maths. This work is set on a Wednesday and is to be completed by the following Tuesday.

Purple Mash This is the link for Purple Mash. Work is set on Purple Mash for Spelling, Grammar and Punctuation (SPaG) practise.

Google Classrooms All home practise is explained on Google Classrooms. This is the link for the website, but you can also download the app.

Boom Reader Boom Reader is used to record when chioldren have read. It is used to record reading at home and at school. This can also be downloaded as an app.Chuldren should be reading at least 4 times a week at home.

Timestable Rockstars This website is used by children to practise timestables. Work is not set, howeverb children are expected to practise timestabkles daily.

Project

Many of our children love the learning opportunities they get from our projects. Whilst we do not set specific home learning for project, we encourage children to explore their interests at home. This could be creating a piece of art, a model, and in depth piece of reserach or even a project themed cake!
