Working from home
Endeavour Primary School is now partially closed and we are therefore providing remote learning via the school website and through Purple Mash. Purple Mash will be updated daily and the website will be updated every two weeks (each project is designed to last two weeks)
If you need to contact your child's class teacher during the partial closure then please do so via email (email@example.com). In the subject line please put you child's class and their teacher for example: FOA Mrs Bailey Anning. This will help us manage the emails coming in.
All year groups projects/activities are available so please feel free to use all resources available to you. We have also added a comprehensive list of websites and activities to the Pupil Zone.
The Year 4 Team
Welcome to Year 4
Anning, Darwin and Dickens
On the King Campus, the teacher for Anning Class is Mrs Bailey and the Teaching Assistant is Miss Forbes.
The teacher for Darwin class is Mrs Brisbane and the Teaching Assistant is Mrs Montgomery.
On the Kirk Campus, Miss Carswell is teaching Dickens class, working alongside our Teaching Assistants, Mrs Harris and Mrs Scribbens.
- Book bags should be brought into school every day and children will be given the opportunity to change their reading books daily.
- PE is every Wednesday and Friday for Anning and Darwin and every Tuesday and Friday for Dickens. We would encourage children to keep their PE kit in school throughout the week
We will be going to Butser Farm on Monday 16 th September to support our exciting Roman topic. If you have not yet contributed towards the trip, please use the SCOpay system to do so, at your earliest convenience.
If you have any queries or questions about your child's learning or school like, please do not hesitate to speak to your child's teacher.
Butser Farm Trip
On Monday 16th September Year 4 visited Butser Farm. At Butser Farm we got to see goats and sheep. We also got the chance to go to the gift shop which had lots of nice things in there. Everyone made a clay model to bring home to keep. The clay was fun but our hands did get messy. We learnt about the Romans and how they invaded Britannia. We went in a real life Roman villa and saw a beautiful mosaic floor. I think we were lucky to go to such a wonderful place.
