Hello from Avon Tyrrell! Year 6 are all incredibly excited to be here 😊
After arriving at 11am, we were shown to the campsite and had time to settle into our accommodation for the next 4 nights. After carrying our heavy suitcases, everyone was starving so lunch came at the perfect time. Everyone enjoyed a filling lunch of either pasta or jacket potato to power them up for the afternoon.
This afternoon, all groups have taken part in their first activities. Some groups went kayaking, paddle boarding or on a pedalo, whilst others went climbing, completed an adventure trail or took on the egg drop challenge.
Over the course of the week, all groups will have the opportunity to do all of the activities.
This evening, after a delicious dinner of pizza and donuts, some groups went night orienteering whilst others relaxed at the campsite.
