Stubbington 2026

We’ve had a great first day here and we have been super busy! As soon as we got here, we immediately dropped our things into our rooms and then went for a tour of the site. Once we’d had a delicious lunch, we headed off to our first activity.

Group A did a migration activity where we had to use 4 figure grid references to find clues around the grounds to find out information about how animals migrate.

Group B completed an art activity where we used clay and the environment around us to make some fantastic pictures. The instructor even commented on how wonderfully we listened and what beautiful pictures we created.

Group C did an obstacle course and worked brilliantly as a team.

For dinner, we either had chicken nuggets or battered fish and everyone is being very sensible about washing their hands!

This evening, we are attending a workshop delivered by a famous wildlife photographer and viewing some of his wonderful photos. 2 of the groups will then be attending the hide to see if they can spot any badgers or foxes. Mrs Swanson in particular is very excited for this!!

Let’s hope we sleep well tonight…
